It almost meets expectations for the price.

I got the junior suite with a pool, The view from the room was excellent. The sweet was very spacious and a luxurious. The room was quiet and sound insulation was excellent. The bathroom is also spacious.

The beds were surprisingly firm and were not good. I wish they had a detachable bidet in the bathroom. For the price, The fridge should be stocked full and included. But I guess free drinks in the lounge make up for it.

A Unique Experience

The Apurva Kempinski is indeed unique and magnificent. This is a colossal resort but every single corner and nook has been intricately designed to perfection and with your convenience in mind. The service is out of this world! Checking in was a breeze, our porter provided us with the background of the hotel, the restaurants' staff and chefs provide you with a personal experience that makes you forget that you're one of hundreds of guests and room service is exceptional. The room is stunning design-wise, comfortable bed, exceptionally clean with a spacious and modern bathroom fitted with a shower head the size of a dinner plate. This resort is more of an experience than just a stay. The Koral (aquarium) Restaurant will go down as one of the best dining experiences of my life. Every guest looked like a kid in a candy store as we were amazed by the fish and the beautiful production they've made out of the feeding time, the service was out of this world and the food was interesting (a little too experimental for my partner and I). The breakfast and dinner buffets were a top tier experience, there was a wide variety of food from different regions all cooked to perfection. The Reef Restaurant had decent cocktails and bites by the pool and we enjoyed the pool near this restaurant due to the great service and well-kept cabanas. Some other noteworthy services: - Guests are free to enjoy canoeing and paddle boarding. - The spa is rather expensive but you get your money's worth. The ambiance, architecture, service and the quality of the treatment deserve a 10/10. - The buggies at the resort come in handy in the blaring Nusa Dua heat. - There is a daily activities schedule at the resort. My partner enjoyed the gym and he was able to book some private sessions with the trainer. I enjoyed the morning yoga and found the intimate classes to be a treat. - There is a departure lounge for guests with late flights.

The business centre service was terrible and they charge you for using internet which I found bizarre as WiFi is free for all guests. That's all the criticism I have. In short: Make that booking!

Amazing place, excellent breakfast, incredibly slow dining services with poor customer service

The hotel was incredible and the breakfast and all the food is amazing.

The meal service takes FOREVER. Anything you order will take an hour and you will have to follow up several times. On one occasion we ordered a cheese plate and it took 1 hour and on the other occasion we ordered a simple side dish and it took 1.5 hours. What dampened the overall wonderful experience was the lack of effort to remedy or fix any mess up like this. They just listen and say oh sorry. They could have given the side or any element at no charge. The side proponlo costs $0.50....

Everything. They prepare a cake and dessert for us when we arrived as they knew that we're in our honeymoon. Thank you lady in Red Gracia.

The bugs, but they were much much less than the rest of bali.

The cleaning service staff not clean the room all . We just check in and enter our room and the bathroom was dirty and also many hair on the floor . They didnt clean after the guest check out . So the new guest got the dirty bathroom and floor

Relaxing Holiday

We stayed in the Villa for the first night and Ocean front Junior Suite for the next two nights. Both rooms are very different and far away from each other. The villas are exclusively located on either the left or right of the resort (before the lobby area). Villa It is a two storey villa located at Zone 7. There’s a pool and rest area outside. On the first floor is the living room and a large bathroom with a huge bathtub. Love the fact that it comes with two separate vanities for him and for me. On the second floor is a large bedroom and another bathroom. There are two mini bars and all drinks are complimentary. The villa also comes with a coffee machine. There is a restaurant within the villas and it is exclusive for the villa guests. Breakfast and complimentary high tea (2-4pm) will be available there. Ocean Front Junior Suite It is the furthest room from the entrance (Zone 6 and 3) but nearest to the beach. It is quite a distance to walk from our room to the lobby but not to worry as buggy services are available. We got a corner room and needless to day, the view from the room is stunning! We were given the room on the ground floor the first day and we were quite disappointed as the “Ocean View” is almost covered by the plants in front of the room. Remember to ask for higher floors. Ocean front junior suite is quite far away from the restaurants and facilities like gym, spa, etc. If you are looking for a more conveniently located room, choose the cliff suites instead. Pool in the room is not necessary as they are very small. In addition, the resort has quite a few large pools and they do not feel crowded at all. Complimentary high tea is also available from 2-4pm, followed by cocktail from 5-7pm. Breakfast starts from 6-12pm. So basically we are constantly full. The resort also provides lots of activities for adults and kids to join. Nursing services and even a large playground are also available.

Villa team and Suites team could coordinate a little better. There are some hiccups from the transition of our rooms from the villas to the Ocean Front Suites but there are too many good experiences to offset this minor issue.

Wonderful

The hotel's staff provided exceptional customer service. The restaurants served fantastic food. The hotel was beautifully designed, featuring stunning gardens, pools, and main building. The main lobby area had breathtaking views and architecture. Our daughter had a great time at the children's pool and kids club.

The pool requires maintenance due to missing tiles in the pool stairs. The rooms were perfectly clean but some times a foul smell emanating from the air conditioning .

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exceeded expectations! I’ve wanted to stay at this place ever since it opened and I had high expectations. This place exceeded those expectations!. From the room, staff, facilities, view to the AMAZING design I could not be more thrilled to have experienced it. Went to the buffet dinner on the first night and I was shocked with the amount of choice I got to choose from! There was Indian, traditional, western - pasta station, noodle station, meat station!!!!!. I met the loveliest most genuine staff named “Eddie” and he made us feel so welcomed. The pool was HUGE!!! The buffet breakfast is a big fat must!, the choices were u Unbelievable and staff so attentive and kind. They spoilt us for our anniversary and gifted us the most AMAZING chocolate mousse mud cake!. Yes it is more expensive, BUT it is so worth it I can not stress that enough.

For me personally the pool was too warm, only because of the time of year and how hot it was! but still enjoyed every moment of it and LOVED how big and spacious it was.

Underwhelming.

Location was good for a resort.

The phone system needs attention, the operator take an age to pick up and when he trys to connects you nothing happens and you need to start the process all over..... This is really a total pain.

Thin walls- could hear everything next door including the dog. Unsupervised children running about and touching food in the buffet ( staff tried to stop it but they could do little as the parents couldn’t care less). Hard to sleep with partying until 3 am.
